Is your child experiencing reading or learning difficulties, or just taking a little longer to
"catch on" at school?
___________
Has it been recommended your child have Cognitive assessments?
Assessments & Testing
You do not need an extensive Intellectual (IQ) test before being able to begin or benefit from intervention for learning & reading difficulties______________
Depending on their purpose, cognitive assessments such as IQ tests can be very useful, and provide important information about your child's intellectual functioning____________Though useful for many purposes, on their own they rarely can tell you why your child may be struggling with learning and reading; and more importantly what can be done about it
